This trio of talent multi-instrumental musicians have been playing music together for nearly four decades. They specialize in traditional and contemporary folk music, old time string band music, and good-ole three-part harmony Gospel Songs. Dave Smith’s powerful, yet smooth vocal talent lends a special old time feel. His prowess on several instruments shows off his boundless musicianship. Robert and Mary Gillihan are also extremely talented multi-instrumentalists, each with a golden voice as well. Robert and Mary are well known for fantastic performances at Caroling in the Caverns. Together, they give a harmonizing performance that more than lives up to the band’s namesake. Harmony has performed on the NPR show Prairie Home Companion, and even sang an a capella gospel song with host Garrison Keillor during the show. They occasionally perform at the Ozark Folk Center. Dave Smith is the host of the popular old-time radio show Ozark Highlands Radio.

This special show features many songs written by Arkansas native and historian Charley Sandage. These original songs are “written about people and events in Arkansas’ colorful history”. Along with enjoyable music and lyrics, the performance includes a slide show of historic pictures from Arkansas’ past.

Tickets are $12.
