Club Possum – Mountain View Meeting Place
May 15, 2018 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
5 South features the Spickes family plus Little Page Simpson on the mandolin and dobro. Kaylee Spickes is a former state fiddle champion. Her brothers are all amazingly talented teenagers in their respective instruments. This all teenager band plays old time music reminiscent of that time long past.
No one could argue that Mary Parker is Mountain View’s sweetheart fiddle player. Her fiddling skills have developed exponentially in her relatively few years. A multi-state fiddle, flat-picking, and jig-dancing champion, even at young age, she is the consummate entertainer. With her talented band, the White River Ramblers, she puts on an unforgettable show.
Admission is free. Please tip the musicians generously.
A live broadcast can be seen just before 7 pm and just before 8 pm.
Popcorn, soft drinks, and other refreshments available for purchase.
